Why we publish every price revision
A price that moved 9% in eleven months tells you more about a project than any brochure.

Every price we record is stored append-only. When a builder revises a rate, we close the old record and open a new one in the same transaction. Nothing is overwritten, so the chart on a project page is the complete history we hold, not the current number with a plausible line drawn behind it.
This matters for two reasons. The first is negotiation. A project whose rate has not moved in four quarters while the locality moved 9% is telling you about absorption, and absorption is leverage.
The second is trust. A platform that can quietly rewrite yesterday's price is a platform whose prices mean nothing. Making the record immutable is the cheapest possible way to make the number worth reading.
Where a revision came from a channel partner rather than a builder price list, we label it, because the two are not equally reliable and pretending otherwise would defeat the point.
